Jason is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary; also Jason is working toward his certification in National Association of Nouthetic Counselors in Biblical Counseling. I'm excited to be serving Jesus Christ in the area of Singles. In our ministry, we so desire to give God glory. We understand that God loves lost people, and so do we. Our mission is to reach them with the good news of Jesus Christ; to disciple them to become devoted followers of Christ. Mark believes that the foundation of a healthy and growing church rests in the ability to clearly and accurately teach the foundational truths of God’s Word for it is ‘theopneustos’ – God-breathed and is “…profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Mark is married to the former Stephanie Risen and has four fine sons, Joshua, Jacob, Luke, and Mark (also known as ‘Blue’).

MINISTER OF
SENIOR ADULTS
& PASTORAL CARE

Dave McLemore

dmclemore@eastmemorial.org

David and his wife Sandy are natives of Kentucky. For 33 years they traveled extensively with the U.S. Air Force. During this time they were stationed at Maxwell AFB twice and, while here the second
time, David felt a call to the ministry. Not knowing what the Lord had in
store, he stepped out in faith and retired from the Air Force. It was not long before the opportunity to serve as the Minister of Administration at the Academy came open. He filled that position for 3 years and was ordained at East Memorial during that time. At the end of the 2007 school-year he moved over to the church ministerial staff as the Minister of Pastoral Care and Senior Adults. He and Sandy have one daughter, Davina, and two grandchildren, Kathryn and Emma. Davina and her husband MSgt Carl Petermann are currently stationed at Ramstein Germany.

MINISTER O
F
MUSIC

Michael Evans

mevans@eastmemorial.org

Michael Evans was born in Montgomery, Alabama into a Southern Baptist Pastor's family. Being raised in a godly home, Michael accepted Christ at age fifteen. His family traveled in full-time evangelism for six years, singing and preaching in revivals, concerts, and crusades among hundreds of churches. Through that ministry Michael understood God's call into full-time music ministry. He studied church music at Samford University and will soon complete his Bachelor's of Arts degree in vocal performance at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife, Nicole, were married in February of 2007, and moved to East Memorial five months later. Michael enjoys leading God's people in worship, especially through the direction of choral music. He understands that, "Worship is more than a song-service; it's what happens when we surrender our thoughts and hearts to praise God for who He is."
