Music Ministy Opportunities

The music ministry of East Memorial Baptist Church has been established as an effective outreach tool touching hundreds weekly. This ministry is sustained on a rich heritage of hymns and gospel music. We have united our efforts in the pursuit of three objectives:

Discipling our listeners through the message of each song.

Creating an atmosphere of worship.

Preparing the heart for the preaching of the Word of God.

The following information explains the many opportunities available to you within EMBC's music ministry:

ADULTS
Celebration Choir and Orchestra
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:30 P.M.
Location: Fellowship Hall
The Celebration Choir and Orchestra provide God-exalting, Christ-centered music for every Sunday morning service as well as seasonal concert events, revivals, and other
special services.

ENSEMBLES
EMBC is blessed with people who enjoy sharing their musical gifts through the Ladies' Ensemble, Mixed Ensembles and a Quartet. These groups provide special music during some
worship services.

STUDENTS
Youth Choir
Rehearsal: Sundays at 4:00 P.M.
Location: Sanctuary
The youth choir sings in the evening service on Sundays, special musicals, and tours.

CHILDREN
Grades 1-6
Rehearsal: Sundays at 5:00 P.M.
Location:Fellowship Hall
The Children’s Choir sings once a month and during seasonal concerts and children’s musicals. Children’s Choir seeks to teach children to enjoy God through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

PRESCHOOL
Rehearsal: Sundays at 5:00 P.M.
Location: 200
The Preschool Choir learns basic Bible and music principles through various musical activities.
