In the New Testament, the local church is a body of baptized believers. We invite you to belong to the Fellowship of the East Memorial Family in one of three ways.
By Profession of Faith and Baptism
If you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow him in baptism, we will welcome you into our fellowship.
By Transfer of Membership from Another Baptist Church
As a Baptist whose membership is elsewhere, if God directs you here, we will gladly welcome you into the EMBC church family. We will take care of the appropriate details for transferring your membership.
By Statement of Faith
If you are a member of a church of another denomination, having made a public profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and following Him in the New Testament baptism by immersion, we will gladly accept you upon your statement of faith.
When do you join? At the close of every worship service, a hymn is sung, and the pastor stands at the front of the Worship Center. Walk to him at this time and share with him your decision to join the East Memorial Family, or another need that you have.
