Glenn is a native of Alabama and has served as the pastor of East Memorial since May of 1994. He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Alabama and the Master of Divinity Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Glenn has pastored churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Kentucky. Glenn currently serves on local, state and national levels in the Southern Baptist Convention.

Bryan Easley

Bryan, a native of Alabama, has resided in Prattville since graduating from Auburn University in 1984. After serving in many capacities as a layman, Bryan surrendered to the ministry full-time and was ordained at East Memorial in May 1999. He served as Minister of Education for three years and now serves as the Minister of Administration. Bryan has served Southern Baptist on the associational and national levels and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Mark Otstot

Mark accepted Christ as his personal savior in July of 1988. He has been a member of EMBC for over 10 years and surrendered to the call to ministry in the fall of 2004. He has a B.S. in Microbiology from The Ohio State University, and has attended Southeastern Theological Seminary at their satellite branch in Tampa, Fl. Mark believes that the foundation of a healthy and growing church rests in the ability to clearly and accurately teach the foundational truths of God’s Word for it is ‘theopneustos’ – God-breathed and is “…profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Michael Evans

Michael Evans was born in Montgomery, Alabama into a Southern Baptist Pastor’s family. Being raised in a godly home, Michael accepted Christ at age fifteen. His family traveled in full-time evangelism for six years, singing and preaching in revivals, concerts, and crusades among hundreds of churches. Through that ministry Michael understood God’s call into full-time music ministry. He studied church music at Samford University and completed his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in vocal performance at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He understands that, “Worship is more than a song-service; it’s what happens when we surrender our thoughts and hearts to praise God for who He is.”

Tim Williams

Tim has been serving the Lord in evangelism for over 23yrs. He has a masters in Religious Education from Luther Rice Seminary. He has led in overseas crusades in India, Phillipines, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Japan, Korea and Ukraine. Tim heart is reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and mission opportunities.

Jason Kennedy

Jason accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 13. He surrendered to the call to ministry in 2002. Jason became a part of the East Memorial staff in 2004. Jason is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary; also Jason is working toward his certification in National Association of Nouthetic Counselors in Biblical Counseling. I’m excited to be serving Jesus Christ in the area of Singles. In our ministry, we so desire to give God glory. We understand that God loves lost people, and so do we. Our mission is to reach them with the good news of Jesus Christ; to disciple them to become devoted followers of Christ.

Zac Goforth

Zac has been on staff at East Memorial since January 1st, 2006. His desire is to see the lives of College & Career students changed through the gospel and for them to grasp onto the idea of living their entire lives for the glory of God. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama in Social Science Education and is currently attending classes at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he plans to obtain a Masters of Divinity degree. After his Master’s degree he plans on working toward his doctorate at Luther Rice Seminary.

Gene has served as a student minister for ten years, and he and his wife Lesley joined the East Memorial family in March 2005. They are proud parents of their daughter, Reagan. Gene’s desire is for students and their families to have a genuine walk with Christ, and to be effective and productive in their walk with Him.

Chris Britton serves as our Minister of Family Life He has been serving in this church for four years. He desires to see God use his ministry with children, new member assimilation and recreation to help individuals grow in their walk with Christ and to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dave McLemore

David and his wife Sandy are natives of Kentucky. For 33 years they traveled extensively with the U.S. Air Force. During that time they were stationed twice at Maxwell AFB and, while here the second time, David felt a call to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not knowing what the Lord had in store, he stepped out in faith and retired from the Air Force. It was not long before the opportunity to be the Minister of Administration at the Academy came open. After serving in that position for 3 academic years he moved to become EMBC's Minister for Senior Adults and Minister for Pastoral Care. He has been serving in those positions since June, 2007. He and Sandy have one daughter, Davina, and two grandchildren, Kathryn and Emma. Davina's husband, Carl, is in the Air Force and they are currently stationed at Ramstein AFB, Germany. David has a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Ball State University.

Tracey has been a member of East Memorial since 1992. In November 2000, after serving children as a volunteer and 25 years in the insurance
industry, she accepted one of her greatest blessings, the full-time position as Director of the Children's Ministry at EMBC. Jesus said "Whoever welcomes this little child in My Name, welcomes Me" (Luke 9:48). It is Tracey's desire that children feel welcomed, loved, and cared about at EMBC and that they are instilled with a love for God and His church while they are young. She loves to see children excited about coming
to God's house! Tracey and her husband Jim have two wonderful sons, Seth and Kevin, one
wonderful daughter in law, Merideth and one perfect grandson, Gabriel.

Jerry Watkins

Jerry and his wife and high school sweetheart, Dawn have 3 children, Taylor, Aaron and Carli Rae. Jerry and family moved their membership to EMBC in 2001 and have since served in various ministries of the church. Jerry was ordained as a deacon at EMBC, served in various lay positions prior to entering full time vocational service at EMBC in 2007 as the administrator of the church academy, EMCA. Jerry and Dawn graduated from the University of Alabama in 1992. Jerry graduated and completed graduate school at the University with degrees in Aerospace engineering, 1992, 1994. Prior to joining the EMBC ministerial team, Jerry worked as a professional engineering consultant for a structural engineering firm and as an engineering supervisor and district and region projects engineer for UPS. ³A passion and a love for people moved me out of the mainstream professional world into full time ministry. A wise man once advised me to find my passion and pursue it and assured me that I would be ³successful² maybe not in the world¹s eyes, but in God¹s eyes and in my own heart. I am passionate about people and my love for the Savior. I am truly blessed to be on staff at my church and I thank my pastor and my Lord for the opportunity to serve here at EMBC.²
